Composite Structures

This includes structures comprising of more than one structural material and all those becoming part of a carefully conceived single structural system. These are mainly applied to industrial buildings, stadium structures and multi-storey buildings.

Having proper understanding of strength and weaknesses of each structural material, while conceiving a structural system, attempts are made to distribute the structural materials such that their strength utilization is optimized. Systems being adopted are:

• Steel roof with concrete substructure
• Steel frame with concrete deck in multi-storey buildings
• Composite space frame with combination of concrete and steel members

Design services are offered as per IS, ACI, AISC, AS, BS, CSA, Eurocode, NZS and Saudi Building Code.
